The Eye of God

Eye of God

This is a picture taken by NASA with the Hubble Telescope.
It was named by NASA, "The Eye of God".

God's Word blesses us by declaring that the eyes of the Lord are always upon us. The Christian following the Lord Jesus knows that we are never away from His loving care or sight. The unrepenant sinner should tremble, for the eyes of the Lord, Who shall judge sinners with flaming fire, are watching his unrighteous deeds.

The striking picture from outer space taken by NASA 's Hubble Telescope shows millions of stars in a galaxy . Its color and shape caused NASA to name it "The Eye of God." Only an omnipotent God could create such majesty , grandeur, size and beauty. These stars can be a reminder in God's nature that indeed His eye from Heaven is upon us.

"So theLord alone did lead him...He led him about, He instructed him , He kept him as the apple of His eye." Deuteronomy 32:10

THE EYE OF GOD

"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him." II Chronicles 16:9

"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." Psalm 34:8

"Behold , the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy." Psalm 33:18

His Eyes are Holy Eyes

God's eyes look for men who trust His Son and who walk in holiness before Him. His eyes call us to behold His holiness and to seek to be like Him in moral and holy lifestyle, to have a heart "perfect toward Him."

His Eyes are Heavenly Eyes

God has a heavenly perspective on our existence. These eyes from Heaven run "to and fro throughout the whole earth" to watch over us. He can see what is best for our lives because He sees all from beginning to end and from the vantage point of Heaven.

His Eyes are Helping Eyes

"I will guide thee with mine eye." As a loving parent can guide a child by constant , intense gazing, God can guide us with His loving eye. His plan is to protect us as He watches. He will guide us into His will and to reach our full potential in life and Christian service. Ask God in prayer today to guide you with His eye.
